About SafeSend Returns
SafeSend Returns is a user-friendly and highly secure technology solution that allows you to manage your tax returns from the convenience of a computer or smartphone. Here is an overview of that process.

When your tax return is ready you will receive an email from Robinson, Grimes & Company, P.C. at noreply@safesendreturns.com. The email will contain a safe link for accessing your tax return and for the electronic signing process. For the best experience, we recommend using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

Add this email address to your “safe list” to prevent it from being categorized as spam or junk mail.

If you do not see an email from Robinson, Grimes & Company, P.C. at noreply@safesendreturns.com, please check your Spam or Junk E-Mail folder.

Important: Please save the email from noreply@safesendreturns.com to access your return in the future.

After clicking the link you will be asked to complete an identity verification process.

After completing the identity verification you will have access to your tax return where you can:

See if you owe taxes, are receiving any refunds, and see your estimated tax payments (if applicable).

View it on-screen, download it, and/or print it.

Electronically sign your e-file authorization forms.

Complete the electronic signing process. Use the “Click Here to Begin” button to start.

Note for married couples: The IRS requires both individuals electronically sign independently. Once the taxpayer listed first on the return completes the electronic signing process the spouse will receive a similar email and must complete their own electronic signing process.

Once the e-file authorization form(s) has been signed, RGC will be notified and will complete the e-filing process on your behalf.​​

​​Q: What are the benefits of utilizing SafeSend Returns?
A: SafeSend Returns allows you to:

Q: Is it safe to enter my social security number (SSN)?
A: Yes, look for HTTPS:// at the beginning of the site URL and a locked padlock symbol in your browser's URL bar to confirm you are on a secure site. For more information about product security, see SafeSend's Information Security Overview.
Q: After signing, will I receive confirmation that the return was successfully submitted?
A: Yes, you will receive an email stating it was successful.
Q: Will I receive a notification when my return is ready to sign?
A: Yes, email notifications regarding your return will be sent from noreply@safesendreturns.com.
Q: Can I set up reminders for my quarterly estimated payment?
A: Yes, you can do this from the Pay screen. See the Tax Payments section of SafeSend's Client Experience article for more information.
Q: If a Partner/Shareholder declines to e-sign the K-1 how will I know?
A: The K-1 Distribution Page will show "Declined Consent". If they happen to decline by accident you can click "Resend" to allow them to accept and download. See SafeSend's K-1 Distribution article for more information.
Q: I’d rather print and sign my e-file authorization form(s) - Can I do that?
A: Yes, select the Manually Sign button in the Sign section of your return. See the Manual Sign section of SafeSend's Client Experience article for more information.
Q: What if I don't receive an email with my access code?
A: See SafeSend's Access Codes Explained article for troubleshooting steps.
Q: My Spouse and I are filing our return jointly - How can we both sign the e-file authorization form(s)?
A: The firm will send the return to one spouse first, who will complete signing. At this point, the second spouse will receive the return for signing. See SafeSend's Client Experience article for more information.
Q: Will I have the option to download and print my return to retain for my records?
A: Yes, you can do so during the Review step of the process and after signing is completed. See SafeSend's Client Experience article for more information.
Q: What browsers are currently supported?
A: Google Chrome (preferred), Firefox, Edge and Safari are all compatible with SafeSend.
